So is the iPad camera on the new iPad3 a big leap from its predecessor the iPad 2? People are raving about the difference between the still imagery, photos taken with the iPad 3 camera are crisp at 1080 resolution, better than the iPad 2 camera. The video capture didn't show much improvement from the iPad 2. Not much different perhaps? Here are some comparisons- what do you think?
If you're gonna use the camera mode quite frequently, the new ipad 3 would be a much better option. Well, pretty much decent for a mobile device camera though you're better off with a compact DSLR or a mobile phone for now. Well, this is just the 3rd gen attempt on the iPad, I'm sure the camera will be pretty awesome a few Gens later :)

Would You Take Photos with Your iPad Camera?
Would it be a hip idea going around taking pics with a large tablet held up over your face. Are people going around taking pics with their iPads? Maybe the hipsters, camwhores and the geeks are at it, but the general public?
I don't think camera hobbyists would be keen on taking pics with their iPad. But for any layman on the go, why not just enjoy what Apple has to give?

Strike an awkward pose with your ipad camera! |
No iPad camera love? Not yet, anyway. That trend is not there yet, but so far Apple has that in mind. Apple wants us to forego that point-and-click cameras and go for their stylish tablets with its built-in high-def retina display and 5-megapixel camera. You got 2 cameras on the iPad, the backside camera and the front camera. The backside camera being the preferred point-and-shoot option while the front side is the FaceTime video chat camera.
